Founded on Precision, Built on Trust
Iron & Oak was founded in 1998 by James Calloway, a structural engineer who believed the construction industry needed a higher standard. Starting with a crew of five in a small Chicago workshop, James set out to build structures that would outlast trends and withstand time.
Today, we're a team of over 200 professionals spanning architecture, engineering, project management, and skilled trades. We've completed more than 340 projects across 14 states, ranging from custom residences to large-scale commercial developments.
Our approach hasn't changed: every project receives the same obsessive attention to detail, whether it's a $500K renovation or a $50M commercial complex. We don't cut corners because our name is on every beam, every joint, and every finished surface.
